Grattis på Nationaldagen, Sverige!
Sedan 1983 har Sverige firat sin nationaldag den 6 juni. Det är den dag då Gustav Vasa valdes till kung 1523. Detta lade även grunden för Sverige som en självständig stat. Samma dag, år 1809 antogs också en ny och viktig konstitution.

Since 1983, Sweden has celebrated its National Day on 6 June. It is the date on which Gustav Vasa was elected king in 1523. This laid the foundation of Sweden as an independent state, and on the same date a new, important constitution was adopted in 1809.
